The Naked Prey is Cornel Wilde’s 1966 version of The Most Dangerous Game set in southern Africa. An amazing adventure flick filmed on location in some really beautiful locations. While some of the wildlife scenes are clearly stock footage there is a fairly convincing blend between them and the fictional scenes. I have to say this film is not for the weak of heart, it’s pretty damn brutal. A man gets covered in clay and baked alive in this motion picture. Go grab this flick from the good people @Criterion!
